ACSI provides submission on Executive Remuneration to Productivity Commission

ACSI has lodged a submission with the Productivity Comission in response to their inquiry on the Regulation of Director and Executive Remuneration in Australia.

ACSI’s submission discusses one of the justifications for the levels of remuneration being the local and global competition for executives. In an endeavour to be constructive on this issue, ACSI commissioned RiskMetrics to conduct research which focused on the factual data which is disclosed in the Annual Reports of listed companies or other company announcements.

The research report is entitled 'A war for talent? - Evidence from top 50 Australian companies on the competition for executive talent.'
